1. About the Journal

The FORGE Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (FJMR) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Forum of Researchers, Graduates & Engineers – India (FORGE). The journal aims to promote high-quality research across multiple disciplines, including engineering, science, technology, and management.

2. Manuscript Submission

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the email editor@forgeindia.org

• Manuscript must be original and unpublished
• Must not be under consideration in any other journal
• All authors must approve the submission
• Plagiarism must be within acceptable limits (<15%)

Authors must strictly follow the journal template.

General Formatting:

• Font: Segoe UI
• Font Size: 12 pt. (main text)
• Line Spacing: Single
• Alignment: Justified
• Margins: 2.54 cm (all sides)
• Maximum Length: 8 pages (including references)

Title Formatting:

• Font Size: 16 pt.
• Style: Bold, Uppercase
• Alignment: Centre

Author Details:

• Names: First name & last name only (no titles like Dr./Mr.)
• Font Size: 12 pt., Bold
• Affiliation: Institution, designation, email
• Corresponding author must be clearly marked

Abstract:

• Word Limit: ~200 words
• Single paragraph
• Clearly mention the objective, methodology, results, and conclusion

Keywords:

• Provide 5–6 keywords
• Relevant to the research area

Figures:

• Must be high resolution
• Caption below the figure
• Numbered sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.)
• Centre aligned with border

Tables:

• Caption above the table
• Proper alignment of content

• Numbered consecutively if referenced

7. References & Citation Style

Citation Style:

• Use numerical referencing: [1], [2, 5]

Reference List:

• Must appear at the end of the manuscript
• Follow standard formats:

Journal Paper:

Conference Paper:

8. Plagiarism Policy

• Manuscripts must be original work
• Plagiarism should not exceed 15%
• Proper citation is mandatory
• Violation may lead to rejection or blacklisting

10. Publication Process

Steps for Submitting and Publishing a Paper

1. Prepare your manuscript strictly as per the journal’s prescribed template.
2. The corresponding author must mail the manuscript to editor@forgeindia.org
3. Upon submission, an acknowledgement email will be sent to confirm receipt of the manuscript.
4. An editorial board member will conduct an initial screening to verify whether the paper aligns with the journal’s guidelines and policies.
5. If found suitable, the manuscript will be forwarded for a double-blind peer review process.
6. Based on the review, the paper may be accepted, rejected, or returned for revisions.
7. The review and acceptance process typically takes 10 working days.
8. After review, the corresponding author will receive an email indicating acceptance, rejection, or required corrections.
9. In case of acceptance, the author will receive an acceptance email along with an Article Processing Charge (APC) payment link and a Copyright Form.
10. The corresponding author is required to pay the Article Processing Charges (APC) and retain proof of payment (screenshot).
11. The Copyright Form must be downloaded, duly filled out, and signed.
12. The corresponding author must send the email to editor@forgeindia.org, uploading:

• Proof of APC payment
• Scanned copy of the signed Copyright Form

13. Upon successful verification of documents and payment, the accepted paper will be finalized and shared, along with a Certificate of Publication commonly for all authors.
14. The journal issue will be published as per the scheduled timeline, and authors will be notified upon publication.

14. Article Processing Charges (APC)

FORGE publishes its journals as fully open access, allowing for the unlimited use and reuse of articles, in addition to giving credit to the authors. Authors pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, the professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, the dissemination of published papers in various venues, and other publishing functions. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the coloured figures or supplementary data. Article Processing Charge (APC) has to be paid after the final acceptance of the paper. 

Authors are strongly advised to strictly adhere to these guidelines to ensure smooth review and publication. Non-compliance may result in rejection without review.
